ZANY MUSICAL EXTRAVAGANZA TOOPY AND BINOO™ FUN AND GAMES KICKS OFF 50-CITY CANADIAN TOUR

Winnipeg, MB – September 25, 2014 – On the heels of the wildly successful Toopy and Binoo and the Marshmallow Moon tour in 2011/2012, BFFs Toopy and Binoo returned to the stage with capacity audiences in Brandon, MB and Winnipeg, MB this past weekend to kick off 50-city tour of Canada. Koba Entertainment’s newest theatrical production Toopy and Binoo: Fun and Games blends the entertaining and unpredictable, integrating music, theatre, dance, circus arts, puppetry and innovative multimedia technology in an off-the-wall experience that will delight the entire family.

Tickets are on sale now for all cities and are available through www.ToopyAndBinooOnTour.com

Toopy and Binoo is based on the best-selling children’s books by Dominique Jolin. The characters made their television debut in 2005 and quickly climbed into the hearts of children in hundreds of countries, including Treehouse TV (Canada), Tiji (France), Rai Sat (Italy) and Sun TV (India). On stage, Toopy and Binoo perfectly blend optimism, imagination and spontaneity in their quest to find the best game ever. The story unfolds when a toy chest full of mismatched games and puzzles ignites the pair’s imagination. Watch as Toopy and Binoo dance with Xs and Os, wiggle with smiling snakes, and try to outsmart a gang of dancing ladders. Along with tea-partying cats, energetic Dusteroos and a flock of fun-loving sheep, Toopy and Binoo embark on their wackiest and most interactive adventure yet.

Koba Entertainment’s Toopy and Binoo: Fun and Games is among the producer’s long list of original stage shows, including Dora the Explorer: Search for the City Of Lost Toys and Max & Ruby in the Nutcracker Suite. Led by award-winning choreographer Patti Caplette as writer and director, the all-star creative team includes musical director, and JUNO Award-winner, Norman Foote; projection and scenic designer, Beth Kates; and costume design by Maydwell Mascotts, Anne Armit, and Kevin McGuire.
